Awesome game that could use some polishing.

Great game! I enjoyed dodging the stones and it actually felt pretty, addicting. For the tutorial, I was pretty confused though. There was some text saying "I've read it go on". But I couldn't understand that I was supposed to click that to continue. Maybe you could add a small colored rectangle around the text, to make it look more like a button. It could have also used at least one shade, to make it look even nicer while I eat the stones. I really liked this game though. Mostly the environment. I liked playing as the smiley face, in a quiet field. And dodging the rocks, as I said before, was actually addicting. It could be better at some points, but overall, this game is very great! Magnificent job!

thank you ive made a box around the "go on" and "go back" now :)

Great, but could be better.

Maybe if you want to update it, put a sequel, or just make it better, you could possibly make the game more visually appealing. In most animations, the player was the same picture the whole time. Maybe, you could make a different symbol that is animated for each animation. For example, when running to a different location, you could make a symbol that represents him running, instead of standing. Also, you could possibly speed the frame rate up a bit, I found each animation pretty long. And finally, you could get a better user interface. By which I mean, instead of arrows around the character, you could maybe put different buttons at the bottom left hand corner, and replace them with a grayed out graphic symbol for when the move isn't available. If you make the buttons like that, you could possibly lighten up the colors when the mouse hovers over them, for more immersive gameplay. Those are my suggestions.

Onto the better side of this game, I really liked the plot. I've played a few games like this before, but I kinda liked the idea of escaping from a cave. I liked the rope idea, how you drag it first, and then hang from it. So, this game has a lot of potential. Great job on this!

I initially wanted to do more in regards of animating it, but a few bugs really ate away at the time I set aside to work on this project. I really like your Idea about the buttons in the corner tho. I am really glad you enjoyed this and thanks for the detailed review.

A very ideal purpose.

This could possibly lead to one of my most preferred game types of all. I enjoy physics games, and this kind of has that aspect in it. When the gaseous figure collides with other shapes, it presses against them and deforms. Now that would be a completely AWESOME Physics engine. What would improve this game, is adding more variety, and quality. You could kind of add some lighting, backgrounds, and all that. For variety, you could add more playable figures, game types, or more other figures that you collide into. This is already great. And has loads of potential. Keep it up!

Awesome review! I too LOVE physics games... but i could never figure out how to make a good one! I do like a lot of your other ideas and I enjoy reading your reactions to the different effects I added into the game!

Great game!

I loved the concept and idea of the game, how it's a nice short way to pass the time. I also liked how his face turns different colors, and also, the humor at the end. What you could add is a bit better graphics, such as a bit of shading, but other than that, it's great!

i had to leave so i didnt have much time but im back. I DROPED OUT!!! W00T!!!! the background has awesome though

Perfect tutorial

All I can say,is that this is a great tutorial.
You see, there is SO much scripting work in it.
All coded right for you.
In which many other tutorials have less.
Then examples for everything.
Yeah some wont even give that.
Really,I might try this someday.
Thank you for making this great, tutorial.

thank you for your kind words =D and I hoped it helped ya out

Great game.

I really liked this game, with all the stats and whatever.
You could make a save and load option,it really helps, and people would really like that.As someone else said, try making some goals and stuff, like something to do with levels, and money goals and items and so on.
I liked the graphics a lot.
And the gameplay, its kinda addictive,in a good way.
I hope you make a second one.
Nice game.

plazma1 responds:

This is the PSP version. i am making a PC version with a lot of things you can do.

Wasn't perfect,BUT GREAT!

This was a great accomplishment!
And I look forward to more.
I liked how you input the coding for sound.
What you might want to do,
Is improve on the buttons.
Like using an Over command, making it a different colour,
and an Down command, making it look like it is being pressed.
And maybe some graphics.

But this was very nice.
I look forward to more.
I liked this a lot!

Gimgak responds:

thanks! i did this in like a very short amount of time

This Pwnage is on my favourites

Yes.
As someone said
I thought to myself "string spin?HA!"
and was ready to blam it.
But when I figured out what it really was when I played it.
I found it was WAY,WAY,WAY more than the outside insisted.
Kinda like the saying"You cant judge a book by it's cover"

What I like
1.music,cool job
2.The end has the best graphic modifyers I have ever seen.
3.Even in the process while it spins, you can make the ultimate 3d
works of art from it
4.very creative

I do not know how this got that low type of score.
Then again Probably 70% of the people voting on this
didn't even see it and voted 0.
But this deserves front page!
Lol make more please!!!!

I Can Tell Yr A Guy Of Simple Plesures

Liked it

Because of the graphics and effects of when you get the question right.
Would've been way better with sounds though.
Nice job anyway!

FunfaceGames responds:

I spent a lot of time on the sounds so I hope they are in there!

Great!

It's a great idea how you get to speed up and also with the difficulty.
Also I like how the yellow ball is following your cursor instead of being your cursor

Projec7 responds:

Well of course if it was a cursor it would suck ass!.
